Well on a mega plus I have found employment again! Thats a big huge annoying/nagging monkey off my back.

On the other side of the coin I tore up the transmission in my car lugging it back and forth across the country so I had to unfortunately  sell the wonderful green machine.  Plus having sold my car means I have to acquire a new one which is one of my top three headaches.  Cars are great and some of them are ridiculously fun to drive, but like boats most of them are large pits of money, especially with gas on the rise the way it is.

That all being said, I am pretty confident I have found a new "perfect" car, and it's a VW so it's just that much better!

On top of all that mildly up lifting news I have had several opportunities to work on my photography.  I have been expanding into other styles and disciplines, trying new things and enjoying them pretty thoroughly!  I will be posting some new work soon!

Well i have moved again.

Was un-able to find work in Las Vegas so I have moved back with the family to Woodbridge VA, just south of Washington DC.  Vegas wasn't a total waste I did get a lot of my grandmothers things gone through for her so she has less to deal with now.

The drive out here was supposed to be much MUCH!!! more scenic than it was.  Unfortunately the price of gas in Arizona combined with the number of large hills just destroyed my gas budget and I was forced to take the absolute shortest route possible. So I am sorry to friends in Colorado, Kansas and Kentucky who I was supposed to stop by and see but was unable to do so.

I desperately need work though... My camera gear is on it's last legs... I am down to just my camera and a 17-40mm, 50mm, and a flash.  All other gear was either sold to keep gas in my car or it was damaged in a hiking accident while i was in Las Vegas. Plus several of my backup drives have failed so all i have is my main drive right now and if it goes down I am really in trouble. But I have my eye on a Drobo and am hoping i can sell some DJ equipment to afford it. Plus my car insurance is coming do in February.  I am hoping to hear back from some employers this week and will be able to get back to work.

All that stress aside I have quite a few new images to get processed and uploaded. I have been stepping out of my comfort zone and shooting things things that i usually do not. I will say that there are fish people and more architecture photo's.

In other news I have lost quite a bit of weight which is a step in a better direction for me.

Anywho that is about it for now. I am hoping to have my computer back up and running in the next few days so i can get these photo's gone through and processed.

Well I made it to Vegas.  Been here for about three-ish months now and I have just stopped making plans.  Honestly the the Peter Lik gallery event at the Ceasers this Saturday is the most advanced plans i have made since september...

Honestly i got screwed out of the job i had set up here because they "messed up my transfer paperwork"  and have been looking into it for months. I have had several job interviews setup only to have them canceled by the company for filling the position.

Had a trip to the Grand Canyon planned, didn't happen.  But there is a Yosemite trip in the works and i am extremely excited about it.

So I am headed back east towards the end of January so i can be back by February  to be a judge for group my brother does. Kinda looking forward to that drive back i think i may take a more southern route this time instead and then again i may not it was freaking gorgeous coming through Colorado.

Alright end rant.

In other news there are lots of new photo's coming soon i have been making several trips to different places around Vegas ,trying to find some natural beauty around sin city, you would be surprised how much there actually is to be found.  

Finally thought up a name for my website and the freaking domain is owned by some company out of cambodia or somewhere like that that owns hundreds of domains and does nothing with them they just sit there...

So were to start.

Umm well i said that i would make another journal after 2k views and that didn't really happen right on time. AND I KNOW that page views shouldn't matter but it is very up-lifting when you know your work is actually being seen and not just rotting away on some server somewhere.

Well new things that need to be covered.

I am moving back to Las Vegas the second or third week of June.  I am going to be taking a combination of the most shortest and most scenic route i can.  I will definitely be coming through denver colorado and monument valley... but i need to find some interesting places between here and there with out deviating to much from the route i already have mapped out.

I am stuck in some kind of lazy funk right now that i am assuming is a side effect of moving because i hate moving almost as much as i hate job hunting.  I have been out shooting pics when i can but have unfortunately not been bringing them into the computer and eventually up=loaded here and other places.  But on a brighter side of that i am running out of empty memory cards and will have no choice but to upload them. So there is some new work coming

I have been trying to get my job transferred to vegas so i don't have to find a new one when i get there, cause i HATE job hunting. did i mention i hated job hunting... anywho she said it's not gonna be an issue but it seems to easy so i don't know how thats gonna pan out.

I really appreciate all the fave's on my stuff and i broke down today told my self i was gonna get replies out to the people that needed them and got through the faves too so everybody that has faved something in the last... well since january really you have a comment on your profile...

UHHH what else

I need a new camera cause mine it kinda comin apart i replaced the rubber bands in favor of jb weld and crazy glue... been looking at some 1dmk2's but am really pining for a 1dmk3 or a 7D and a 70-200f4 to go with it. But again moving and stuff kinda has all my monies tied up.

so this is like my first journal, i guess for you few who watch my stuff. I have been a deviant for 3 years and i just reached 1,000 views... now that is okie since i only really started ueing deviant for my art Last year.  And i have only really started taking my photography seriously in the last few months.  also i have found that i am like the most random person. I have everything from digital coloring to photomanipulation to just photography... i bounce around alot i guess...

well thats it for now
